After my father died, I spent most of my 13th year holed up in our New Jersey basement pouring over my mother's meticulous family photo albums. As I attempted to commit every photo of my father to memory, I irrevocably changed the way I saw the world...my waking life morphed into a non-stop deluge of imagery. Fast forward over three decades and one cross country move and life is still filled with scenes of all I've experienced... surfing, yoga, five continents, four-legged and two-legged loves and 20 years of commissioned work. My desire to capture all that's beautiful in life is still alive and well, as are the things I learned from my mom and dad. Life is short.
